Our Selling Process
Ready, set, sell!

When you become a client of ours, you can expect a partnership until the day you settle.  You can be confident that when you need help or advice, we’ll be there.  Here’s what you can expect.

1.  Meet the team

Our team members are all experienced professionals within their specialized areas.  Upon discussing your needs, we will ensure that you are paired with the right team member to ensure the best possible outcome.

2.  Listing sheet

We will prepare the pertinent information about your home (room sizes, price, personal property, special features, taxes, mortgage info, lot, etc.) for marketing purposes.

3.  Sign

Our team sign will be promptly placed on your property.  We shall be marketing your home in a number of ways but our strong sign is a proven winner in attracting prospective buyers.

4.  Multiple listing services

In addition to notifying all of the Sutton sales representatives in the area, we will quickly advice MSL of the availability of your hoe and encourage our cooperative brokers to show your home.

5. Professional photography

A photographer will take photographs of your home to be used with the listing sheet, display advertising and other marketing materials.

6.  Tour day (optional)

An inspection tour by local MLS sales reps may be scheduled.  This is an outstanding opportunity to promote your home early and provide excellent exposure to sales reps and their potential buyers.

7.  Showings

Sales reps from our company as well as cooperating brokers will want to show your home.  An appointment will always be made in advance and you will have the name of the agent and an approximate arrival time.  And although only sales reps who book an appointment through our office are given the lock box code to your house, it is important to secure your valuables during showings.

8.  Follow-up on showings

We will follow-up on showings to gauge potential buyer interest and to elicit any meaningful feedback from the showing sales rep.  You will be updated when the feedback is pertinent.

9.  Promoting your home

Sutton’s clients enjoy a wide spectrum of full media classified and display advertising opportunities in which homes in your price range are continually advertised.  In addition, we have our own marketing and advertising programs in which your home will be featured.
